Travelling to Britain or America to study can be a great way to combine a holiday period with improving your level of English. It is very motivational to actually use what you have learnt. But it can be very expensive too.

You should decide what you want either intensive study to prepare for exams like the Cambridge first certificate or a fun holiday visiting some places you may have read or studied about in class. Also how long do you plan to go for, from a short weekend shopping trip a few weeks study or several months living and studying or working. The choice is up to you a weekend or weeks quick trip can be just as useful as a months study it all depends on what you take home with you from the experience. Remember it may be better to visit several times over the years rather than wait until you can make a single long stay.
